Hello, all NotJustTheMeatGuy here!

Well, I have not posted anything here for a good long while and I wish I did. I have just been overwhelmed at The Iron Yard and I could not keep up with post and projects. We did have a project every day and trying to complete all of them was a task that I could not accomplish as they became increasingly difficult. But overall I have been ok, currently, I am finished at TIY and looking for a Junior Web Developer position at pretty much any company that will have me. I have also started

taking courses online to fill in the gaps in my knowledge and to keep learning.I am using “Udemy” and “edx” mainly because they have really good courses and a ton of free courses also. Some of the free

courses can sometimes be outdated so if you are looking for current tech then make sure to look for when they were published. If you just want to learn something new and don’t have the money to spend on a course depending on what you are trying to learn they can still be pretty good resources. Even if something is outdated they can still have the same basic principals so make sure to google very often. I am excited to be able to have the opportunity to be a developer and will try extremely hard to get a job as a developer.

I am excited to be able to have the opportunity to be a developer and will try extremely hard to get a job as one. I have a second interview with this tech company Blackbaud that provides software, services, expertise, and data intelligence that empower and connect people to advance the social good movement. The company really interests me because of their goal to help nonprofits and the social good. I applied for a Front-End Developer position and hopefully, I get the position. Two other people from

TIY have also had good first interviews so I am competing with them and others to get the position. Hopefully, they will see that I would be a better candidate for the position and hire me but if they don’t I will try my best to find another position at another company.

Well this has been NotJustTheMeatGuy saying,

Wish me luck!
